VERO RETURNS TO MILAN DESIGN WEEK WITH GLUP BY FEDERICA ELMO

Vero is back in Milan for Design Week 2025. Set in the welcoming space of Via Felice Casati 3, the brand unveils GLUP, a playful and glossy new ceramic collection designed by Federica Elmo. Part of an ongoing collaboration with the Italian designer, this latest series transforms the language of everyday objects into something deeply sensorial, inviting touch, stacking, and a little imagination.

The name GLUP says it all. Coated in a high-gloss lacquer, the pieces appear caught in a moment of stillness, inviting touch through their deliciously tactile surfaces. Federica Elmo plays with contrast: softness suggested in shape, hardness delivered in ceramic. The result is a trio of stackable forms that blur the line between function and fantasy.

The collection features two pocket emptiers and a vase, designed to be layered, combined, and arranged in endless configurations. Presented in three rich, refined tones - Chocolate, Marine Blue, and Grey White- GLUP offers a fresh perspective on traditional ceramics, with just the right dose of fun.

Whether used as centerpieces, catch-alls, or sculptural décor, these pieces are made to be touched, moved, and played with. Entirely crafted in Italy using 3D-printed moulding and finished by hand, each object reflects Vero’s ongoing commitment to material innovation and artisanal quality.

The installation at Casati 3 isn’t just about products—it’s about experience. Throughout the week, the space becomes a meeting point for the design community: warm, informal, and rooted in the idea of sharing. It’s an open invitation to pause, chat, recharge—and maybe discover your next favorite object.
